SECRET Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Ngatikaura has broken down in tears in a brand new social media video.
The Hulu reality star has come under fire from viewers during the third season of the hit show after admitting to emotionally cheating on her husband.
Jessi developed a close bond with Marciano that threw her
marriage to Jordan into doubt.
Throughout the show, Jessi has been open about the problems in her union with Jordan including how she claims he emotionally blackmailed her during their time together.
On the season three premiere, she admitted to a two-week long emotional affair with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette but the show scandals appear to have proven too much for Jessi.
In a new Instagram video, she can be seen breaking down in tears before addressing her plans to quit social media altogether.
Jessi said through tears in the clip: “I feel a little bit helpless right now.
“It is just really jarring to have your real life put out there.
“I know I chose to do it and say everything I did but it is hard.
“I just wanted to try and address that as you don’t know how it is until you go through it.”
She continued: “I think reading the comments and seeing the videos isn’t helping me so I am going to take a break from social media.
“I understand people have the
opinion that ‘we signed up for that’ but it doesn’t make it easier to hear.”
She went on to say: “Sharing what I have about mine and Jordan’s marriage has been hard and the mistakes I’ve made has been hard too.
“I made that decision and I am standing by it but it will pass, it will blow over.
“Our relationship isn’t perfect but we are working on it every day.”
In a podcast interview earlier this week, Jessi expanded on some of the marital problems she has faced in her union with Jordan.
Jordan is her second husband after she split from her first partner, who she also described as emotionally abusive, Zach.
Speaking this week, she said: “From my point of view, the more success I got maybe made Jordan [felt] a little threatened because he wasn’t the provider.
“Men do struggle with that sometimes, especially in Mormon culture.
“Even though he’s not Mormon, you grow up in that community and you have a certain way of thinking.”
She admitted that her being the “breadwinner” thanks to her breakout as a Morom Wife had been threatening to her husband.
