I’s over!! Shocking Update: Mama June Season 7 Pulled from Air – Entire Season Scrapped!
Shock Delay: Mama June Season 7 Episode 3 Pulled from Schedule Without Warning – Fans Demand Answers
June 13, 2025 – Viewers eagerly awaiting the next episode of Mama June: Family Crisis were left hanging when Season 7, Episode 3, originally scheduled to air on Friday night, was abruptly pulled from the broadcast lineup. The episode, titled “The D-Word”, had been teased as a turning point in the ongoing family drama — making its sudden disappearance all the more frustrating for loyal fans.

WeTV has yet to release an official explanation. A brief statement on the network’s website merely reads:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, this episode has been delayed. We will update our viewers with the new air date shortly.”
The vague announcement has sparked a wave of speculation online, with fans flooding social media to voice their confusion and disappointment. Theories range from legal complications involving cast members to the episode containing content deemed too sensitive or controversial to air as planned.
“We waited all week for this. No warning, no context, just pulled? What’s going on with this show?” – tweeted one frustrated fan.
“Did something happen behind the scenes? This feels shady,” another wrote on Reddit.
Some suspect that the delay may have something to do with Mama June herself. The reality star has frequently made headlines for her tumultuous personal life, including health scares, legal troubles, and estranged relationships with her daughters. Others believe the episode may have revealed developments that producers now want to re-edit, fearing backlash or negative press.
Complicating matters further, Mama June had posted cryptic messages on her Instagram stories just days before the scheduled air date, suggesting something was “about to explode.” No clarification was offered — and her social media has since gone quiet.
WeTV’s silence is only fueling rumors. Several unverified fan pages are now claiming that the entire season could face delays, though no official confirmation has been given. Some fans are even threatening to boycott the show unless transparency is provided.
“At this point, they owe the audience more than a one-sentence explanation. This is not how you treat loyal viewers,” commented a longtime follower of the series.
Whether the delay is temporary or signals deeper production issues remains to be seen. One thing is clear: the drama isn’t just on-screen anymore — and fans want answers.
Why did Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson move away from home?
Alana, now 19, moved to Colorado and studies nursing … when fellow students aren’t shouting, “Honey Boo Boo Child“ to her, of course. Was she sad to leave Georgia?
“Absolutely, no. I do not miss Georgia. I don’t miss a thing about Georgia,” she says. “I just miss the people that I left behind there.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever not be ‘Honey Boo Boo,’” she jokes. “I might be 60 years old in a nursing home, and people are gonna be like, ‘Honey Boo Boo! What are you doin’ here? Can I get a picture with you?’ And I’m like, ‘Girl, I’m just trying to go play my cards.’”
Alana shares a birthday with her older sister Anna, and watching Anna go through cancer treatments influenced Alana’s career plans.
“I’ve always loved helping people and just being there for people, but after Anna got cancer and she went through her journey, I just seen how much of an impact her nurses had on all of us, and even her in general,” she says. “So I just want to be able to be that nurse one day.”
Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell died of cancer at age 29.
What’s Going on With Lauren “Pumpkin” Efird And Her Husband, Josh?
The couple has been fairly quiet about their marital issues in the past, but they really take center stage this season.
Pumpkin and Josh Efird welcomed their first child when Pumpkin was just 17, got married a year later, then had a second child and a set of twins. They also had to raise a teenager when the state of Georgia awarded custody of Alana to Pumpkin in 2022.
Pumpkin is trying to do things a little different than the way she was raised.
“My mom wasn’t very involved in school events,” Pumpkin explains. So Pumpkin says she volunteers for field trips and snack duty because she sees the way her 7-year-old daughter, Ella, lights up when she does.
“I wasn’t going on field trips,” June says. “I’d go to awards ceremonies and open houses and stuff. I wasn’t volunteering in the classroom. That just wasn’t, unfortunately, my thing.”
This season shows the couple trying to salvage their marriage through counseling, but ultimately Pumpkin decides to walk away. She finds a new love interest rather quickly — and her new man is related to Josh, which generates major conflict.
Pumpkin currently has a boyfriend and still lives in her family home. She told ET recently that Josh lives with a new girlfriend and welcomed a new baby last month.
“For so long, I’ve held everyone together,” says Pumpkin. “This season, everybody’s going to kind of see my life fall apart and then come back together.”
Is “Mama June” Shannon Raising Anna Cardwell’s Kids?
The first episodes of the season focus on the money June owes daughter Alana, and then she engages in a messy custody battle for Kaitlyn Cardwell, 12, the oldest child of Anna Cardwell, June’s oldest daughter who died from adrenal cancer in December 2023.
It is June, not her husband, Justin Stroud, who is the strict parent to granddaughter Kaitlyn (who they call KP).
“Girrrrrl, she’s real strict on KP,” says Alana. “A little snippet of (KP’s) belly button be showing and June Bug’s going to be cryin’ over that for a whole month.”
This behavior is a change from the girls’ upbringing.
“Mama was not as strict on us as she is KP,” Alana shares.
June tries to defend herself, but Pumpkin jumps in.
“You didn’t really care about the school stuff. She didn’t care about me getting my hair dyed, cutting my hair bald. Now that she’s a grandparent, she’s a little more strict,” she says.
Who is Raising Anna’s Younger Daughter, Kylee?
When it comes to discussing Anna’s younger daughter, Kylee, 9, the family intentionally says little. It’s visibly difficult for them to hold back.
“Unfortunately, we don’t know how she’s doing. We’ve reached out as a family a couple of times and we just don’t hear anything back,” says Pumpkin, who makes a slashing motion in an attempt to stop her family from saying more.
Kylee has been raised in Alabama by Michael Cardwell, her biological father, since Anna’s death. He sued June for custody of KP but lost the case.
June says KP and Kylee talk “every once in a while, but not as much as we feel like they need to.”
“And that’s not from our end,” explains Pumpkin quickly. “We are 100 percent wanting to be cordial, but … we’ll just leave it at that.”
