Mormon Wives’ Demi Engemann just delivered her pettiest clapback yet

MORMON Wives’ Demi Engemann has punched back at enemy Jessi Ngatikaura while chowing down on Fruity Pebbles after the meaning behind the phrase was revealed.

Earlier this week, Jessi made a graphic claim about Demi and her husband Bret Engemann’s sex life.

The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives star claimed that the married couple engaged in a sex act with urine and called it “Fruity Pebbles,” a term that was joked about in Season 1.

Demi released a statement afterwards, saying how it was a “private moment” between the husband and wife.

She has now shared a video of her husband drinking a yellow-hued drink before she can be seen munching on some Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Some fans thought the video was a great way to hit back, while others were less than impressed.

One person said, “Honestly you guys are iconic.”

“Brilliant clapback,” penned a second.

“LOL iconic this is why u will always be my favourite,” added a third.

But some other fans thought the video was a step too far.

Demi I think you accidentally hit post,” said one.

“Lol thought it was supposed to be a ‘private’ moment,” penned a second.

“Ya know.. you don’t always have to clap back… this wasn’t it,” wrote a third.

And a fourth said, “Demi…. no baby no.”

When Jessi revealed the “Fruity Pebbles” sex act, she also said: “Since she wants to be petty and be an a**hole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to [redacted] like it is dirty soda,” which came after Demi implied the show is scripted.

Demi then clapped back at Jessi, saying: “I thought she took a break from social media? Good to know this is all it took to have that fame wh0re come crawling back.”

She then shared a statement which read, “What my husband and I did one-time behind closed doors, was a consensual and private experience in our marriage.”

Demi then referred to her claim that Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette sexually assaulted her. (Marciano has vehemently denied the claim, and even told The U.S. Sun in an exclusive interview that he is planning to sue Demi for the accusations.)

“I won’t let a private act between my husband and I be a distraction from a serious act that I did not consent to.”

“I shared this information with Jessi in confidence nearly two years ago. It’s very telling that she’s choosing to break storyline and bring it up now, only after her own affair has come to light,” she continued, bringing up Jessi’s admitted emotional affair with Marciano.

“This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to shift attention away from her own behavior.”

STRICTLY fans have been left heartbroken after presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced they’re leaving the show – with speculation rife over who will replace them.

Tess has been a part of the hit BBC One show since it’s inception back in 2004, where she hosted the show with the late Bruce Forsyth.

Meanwhile, Claudia joined the main programme in 2010 after hosting spin-off It Takes Two since 2004.

Speculation is already at fever pitch as to just who will replace the pair on the much-loved show.

A number of names have already started doing the rounds, from former show stars to a Celebrity Traitors icon.

Here’s who could replace Tess and Claudia on the next

series of Strictly…

Holly Willoughby – 2/1

Holly has been a staple of our television screens for over two decades and is one of the most celebrated hosts in the country.

After Dancing On Ice was axed and Netflix decided not to do another series of Celebrity Bear Hunt, Holly is without a show on tv.

The Sun recently revealed she’s planning her television comeback so she could be a great replacement for Tess and Claudia.

According to Paddy Power, he has bookies odds of 2/1 to host the next series.

Zoe Ball – 2/1

Zoe took part on the show for the third series in 2005 and was partnered with Ian Waite.

The pair made it all the way to the final and came in third place.

She took over from Claudia on the sister-programme in 2011 and hosted the show for ten years before she announced her departure in 2021.

In 2014, Zoe stepped in to host the main show after Claudia’s daughter suffered serious burn injuries.

Bookies have currently given her odds of 2/1.

Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton – 2/1

The couple’s love-story began on Strictly when she appeared as a contestant for the sixteenth series in 2019.

The two were paired together and ended up going all the way to win the show.

They began dating shortly after the show finished and welcomed their baby girl in January 2023.

Presenter Stacey’s odds are 2/1 and considering the BBC are looking for two hosts, Kevin would be a great choice to join his ladylove.

Roman Kemp – 3/1

After Tess and Claudia’s announcement, bookies have already tipped Roman to be a favourite to take over the hosting role.

The 32-year-old is a firm fixture on BBC One after joining the broadcaster in 2022 as a presenter on The One Show.

According to bookies, he currently has odds of 3/1 to join the show.

Alex Scott – 4/1

Alex is no stranger to working at the BBC, having worked on Match Of the Day Kickabout and The One Show.

Her odds stand at 4/1.
